About ARCA
The Amazon is the most biodiverse ecosystem on Earth, yet every day its wildlife faces threats from habitat destruction, illegal trade, and human conflict. Amazon Rescue & Conservation Alliance (ARCA) was founded to take direct action where it matters most: in the field.
ARCA is a conservation initiative dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, studying, and protecting wildlife throughout the Amazon Basin. Our work combines hands-on animal rescue, scientific research, habitat protection, and community education to create long-term solutions for species survival.
Our Mission
To protect Amazonian wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, research, conservation breeding, and education while building sustainable systems that allow both wildlife and local communities to thrive.
What We Do
We operate at the front lines of conservation. Our programs include:
-
Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation – Providing care and second chances for injured, confiscated, and displaced animals.
-
Field Research & Conservation Projects – Studying species in their natural habitats to guide real conservation strategies.
-
Captive Breeding for Conservation – Supporting threatened species populations through responsible, science-based programs.
-
Community Education – Working with local communities to promote coexistence and long-term protection of wildlife.
-
Conservation Center Development – Building a dedicated facility in Iquitos, Peru to expand rescue, research, and conservation impact.
Why It Matters
The Amazon is at a tipping point. Without active conservation, countless species could disappear within our lifetime. ARCA exists to ensure that doesn’t happen. By combining science, fieldwork, and public support, we turn concern into measurable action.
Our Vision
We envision a future where Amazon wildlife populations are stable, ecosystems are protected, and conservation is led by collaboration between scientists, local communities, and global supporters.
Join the Mission
Protecting the Amazon is not a one-person effort, it’s a global responsibility. Whether you support through donations, partnerships, volunteering, or expeditions, you become part of a movement working to safeguard one of the planet’s most vital ecosystems.
Together, we can protect what cannot speak for itself.
